Our dogs are loved long before there is ever a litter planned
We are a small, family-operated Miniature Schnauzer breeding program located in East Texas. We fell in love with their big personalities, loyalty, intelligence, and the way each one has their own little quirks that make them completely unique.
They are part of our everyday lives, and we truly believe the love and care poured into our dogs carries over into the puppies we raise.
There is something so rewarding about watching a tiny puppy grow, discovering their personality, and eventually placing them into the arms of a family who has been waiting for them. Every puppy that leaves us takes a little piece of our heart with them.
How our puppies are raised
Proudly AKC inspected
We are proud to have completed our first AKC kennel inspection with a perfect score, reflecting the high standards of care, record keeping, cleanliness, and responsibility we strive for every day.
Hands-on love
Our dogs and puppies are raised with lots of hands-on love and attention from our family.
Health and temperament
We put a strong emphasis on health, temperament, responsible breeding practices, and giving each puppy the best possible start before they leave our care.
Vet at 6 weeks
All puppies see our veterinarian (Pineywoods Vet Clinic) at 6 weeks of age and receive age appropriate vaccines.
Tails and dew claws
Tails are docked and dew claws removed at 3 days of age.
Natural ears
All puppies have natural ears.
Is a Miniature Schnauzer right for your family?
Miniature Schnauzers are wonderful family companions, but like every breed, they are happiest when their personality and needs are a good match for their family. Don’t be surprised if your Schnauzer becomes your little shadow… they tend to want to be wherever their people are!
One thing every future Schnauzer family should know: they have opinions—and they aren’t afraid to share them! Schnauzers are naturally alert and can be vocal, especially when someone comes to the door or something interesting is happening outside. Early training and consistency can help keep their barking under control.
Their beautiful, low-shedding (hypoallergenic) coats are another reason families love them, but low shedding doesn’t mean low maintenance. Miniature Schnauzers require regular brushing and professional grooming, typically every 6–8 weeks, to keep their coat, beard, and signature Schnauzer look in great condition.
Miniature Schnauzers thrive on companionship. They aren’t a breed that simply wants to live around their family, they want to be part of the family.
